NURSING CARE
We understand that high quality care needs to be delivered by knowledgeable staff. Our in-house certified SVQ staff training programme invests time and effort into guaranteeing first-class care here at Alt-Na-Craig. Our training is designed to improve and enhance the skills of our nurses to prosper in our values and standards of care.
We provide 24 hour nursing care, delivering compassionate and friendly support to each resident. A named nurse will care for an individual resident and will be responsible for monitoring and caring for the resident’s needs. Each named nurse will prepare a care plan with the resident and their relatives.
RESIDENTIAL CARE
At Alt-Na-Craig Care Home, we support individuals who may find it difficult to manage and look after themselves at home. Our service offers a comfortable and safe environment to elderly individuals, who can enjoy the benefits of group living and independence.
DEMENTIA CARE
At Alt-Na-Craig we provide a secure, caring and friendly environment for residents living with dementia.
Our team are fully trained to understand dementia, and we take pride in providing the highest levels of care and respect for every individual. Planned daily activities, social interaction and mental stimulation allow for any frustrations and tensions linked with dementia to be relieved.
We work closely with families and loved ones helps us get to know our residents in order to create an accurate picture of their life – this helps to ensure their ongoing happiness, comfort, and well-being.
RESPITE CARE
At Alt-Na-Craig we know that sometimes everyone needs a break. Whether you care for a loved one or need a break yourself, you can relax knowing that a safe, welcoming and supportive place is here for you.
Accommodating anything from a week to a few months, we provide respite care for those looking for short-term support. Residents are welcome to arrange a stay to trial period to find out if Alt-Na-Craig is the home is they are looking for.
