Here at Alt-Na-Craig we include resident’s families and loved ones in the decision to choose a home. We host relative forums four times a year, where residents and families put forward their ideas and suggestions while enjoying a buffet and light refreshments.
TRAINED TO THE HIGHEST STANDARD
Alt-Na-Craig is an Approved Centre that offers certificated training to all key workers. The training focus is to achieve excellence and encourage individual personal development. This involves a programme of continuous training that ensures each member of staff has the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their duties competently.
Our training guarantees that a high standard of service is offered across the board. All employees undertake training in Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities, Infection Control, Safe Food Handling, Moving and Assisting, Fire Safety, Falls Awareness, and Dementia.

Our supportive, caring and compassionate team dedicate their efforts to ensuring residents at Alt-Na-Craig live every day to their fullest. The team are on hand to deliver top quality care and support to residents where they may need it.
Organised by our dedicated team of Activities Co-ordinators, residents are encouraged to fulfil an active lifestyle through our activities programme. We offer a wide range of activities to join in and residents are encouraged to put forward their own suggestions to ensure they have the option to take part in what they enjoy.
QUALITY DINING TO SUIT EVERY TASTE
At Alt-Na-Craig House our chefs prepare fresh, nutritious, healthy food on a daily basis. We use the finest quality local ingredients and design our menus to ensure a variety of dishes are on offer each day, so there’s something to suit every taste.
Our residents enjoy a range of delicious food and we cater to any requests. A favourite dish our residents love here at Alt-Na-Craig is the Fresh Fish, supplied by a local fishmonger.
